Dr. Thomas Romo III is one of the most respected facial plastic and reconstructive surgeons in the world. A well-known educator and researcher, he holds many of the highest surgical and academic credentials in his profession. He is the past President of the New York Facial Plastic Surgery Society and has served as the Eastern Regional Director of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from 1999 to 2004. He has been cited in the Castle-Connolly peer review survey as a "Best Doctor in New York" for almost a decade. In addition, he is author and editor of the textbook "Aesthetic Facial Plastic Surgery: A Multidisciplinary Approach" (Thieme Publishing, 2000).
